Ben Georg Stegmair

Co-Owner, Co-Producer, Head Acting Director and Actor for Just B.E. Productions

Ben Stegmair began acting 9 years ago, where he quickly fell in love with everything related to the Arts. After a couple of performances, Ben realized that acting was his passion. He promised himself, "No matter what I do in the future, the name theatre will be attached to it." Since his Freshman year of High School, Ben has been a part of 30 productions such as, The Shadow Box, First Date (The Musical), The Dining Room, Robin Hood, Sister Act (The Musical), Twelfth Night and These Shining Lives, in that time he worked with 13 different and experienced directors. Ben has also done his fair share of directing, Ben has directed 10 different projects spanning from ages 9 - 22 he directed his first full-length play "The Dinner Party" when he was 17 years old. Ben's major hobbies include watching soccer, reading plays, singing and spending time with his friends, family and beautiful girlfriend.

Elias Gomez

Elias Gomez is a technical theatre major with an emphasis in stage management at Richland college. Over the past seven years, he has gained experience in every aspect of theatre, including, acting, stage management, lighting and set design. Winning several accolades, he is eager to use his skills for this company! Elias' honorable mention shows are, These Shining Lives, Little Shop of Horrors (The Musical), Emma's Child, Sister Act (The Musical), Anatomy of Grey and The Dining Room. Elias technical directed his first play when he was only 16 years old in The Dinner Party. Outside of theatre, Elias enjoys singing, watching the latest movies, and spending time with his family and friends 

 

 

 

 

Davis Stephens

Davis Alexander Stephens is a theatre major at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts with training emphasis in Acting, Directing, Playwrighting, and Dramaturgy. Over the past 6 years, he has performed in over 20 plays and musicals, directed several productions, and wrote and produced a full-length play. His favorite roles include performing as John in Rivers and Ravines, as Theophilus North in Theophilus North, and as Cornelius Hackl in Hello Dolly. In his free time, he loves writing, singing, playing sports, and going camping. He is excited to use his training and experience to make wonderful theatre in Carrollton.

 

 

 

Edgar Palacios

Edgar is a current student at Texas State University studying Performance and Production with a focus in Film. He has been involved with Theatre for four years. He has performed in various shows including  Sister Act (The Musical), Robin Hood, Flowers for Algernon, Hello Dolly (The Musical) and The Dinner Party. in his free time he likes to write, read, play guitar, sing, draw, watch movies, and listen to music all day long. He is ready to take part of this company and show others the gifts he has learned throughout the years.

 

 

Eric Talamates

Eric Ivan Talamantes is an aspiring actor/singer/musician, a passion which flourished 7 years ago. Recently, Eric has been in Hello Dolly (2016), Sister Act (2017), The Little Mermaid (2018), and These Shining Lives (2017). At home, Eric hones his craft every day on character work, music study, and voice work. In 2018, Eric has been a working actor at the Artison Theatre but he plans to return to school soon. His hobbies include competing in Super Smash Bros. Melee, software modding, computer tech, streaming, making music, and even axe throwing! 

Lauren Rangel

Lauren Rangel is studying Mass Communications with a concentration in radio and television at Stephen F. Austin State University. During the school year, she works with a broadcasting organization, The Crew, that focuses on entertainment news. Along with this, she works with ESPN to produce live sports game in Nacogdoches.  After directing and acting for seven years, she has grown a love for storytelling. She is excited to be the Public Relations Representative for this company! Outside of work, she loves spending time with loved ones and enjoying a cup of hot tea.

Jason Diaz Ortega first began acting five years ago. Having interacted a little with theatre before then, he was astounded when he realized how much he loved it. He has spent the past few years learning everything he could about the theatre world at the University of North Texas, where he’s majoring in Theatre Education with a minor in Music. His ultimate goal is to spread the passion he feels for theatre so that everyone can enjoy life. He has been a part of a few shows, including The BoyfriendHAIR, and Imagine, and is a member of Alpha Psi Omega. Jason’s major hobbies include doodling, eating, playing video games, and spending time with friends and family.
